Ventana
There is a lot to say about this experience but we’ll start with WOW, PHEW, & MY GOODNESS!! We committed ourselves to hand paint over 250 Mexican style tiles on the exterior of newly renovated apartment building named VENTANA. Oh, and did we mention that it was in Houston, TX? In the middle of July?
What a trip this was!! After having enough learning experiences to fill a lifetime between 3 boom lifts, 2 scissor lifts and reaching out to the local artist community for assistance, we made it happen! Our team was stacked with 9 incredible artists which was the biggest team we’ve had to date, 3 of which were the local angels that swooped in helped tremendously.
As inconceivable as this project felt, we continue to pat ourselves on the back for accomplishing such an impossible task and boy was it worth it! The precision of the outcome is undeniable and we’re proud to put The Pretty Good Painters name on it.
